Gerard Cosmetics Hydra-Matte Liquid Lipstick Review

Gerard Cosmetics has come out with a new product line which is their Hydra-Matte Liquid Lipsticks. Many of you know how popular liquid lipsticks are these days and it seems like almost every company out there is coming out with them now. Many liquid lipsticks can be tricky as there are many different formulas and not every liquid lipstick sets/wears the same way on everyone. The formula of the Gerard Cosmetics liquid lipsticks are quite liquidly but they apply evenly on the lips and dry to a matte finish. They feel very comfortable on the lips and do retain a certain amount of moisture to them which I really appreciate. Each lipstick retails for USD$20.00 though there are just three out at the moment (I only bought two). Not gonna lie guys, the first thing that caught my attention when I saw these was "omg they are named after Sailor Moon" haha. Being a moonie I knew I had to get these right away. AND I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER ^_^ If you're in the market for a long lasting liquid lipstick then these are it. Removing them can be a bit tricky, so I would use an oil based makeup remover for these, because they stay put once dry.

One of the Liquid Lipsticks in the shade “Serenity” was created by a very talented Makeup Artist & Beauty Guru on YouTube “Manny Mua” and he did such an amazing job with this shade. I'm in <3 it’s sooo gorgeous!!!!

All in all I am really impressed with these liquid lipsticks. They’re extremely long lasting and are really comfortable to wear. No need to wear a lip primer with these. Some other liquid lipsticks I’ve tried flake off the lips and feel really dry, but this formula is super hydrating and wears beautifully for hours. I can’t wait for more shades to be released :)
