People Ultimate Gift Set

Honesty the box is worth it just for the Quay sunglasses if anything.

PRODUCT:

šŸŽ This limited edition gift box (valued at $124 of swag inspired by the hit NBC show The Voice) Includes the following items:

✨ Ban.do Thermal Mug (a $14 value) is super cute! I own a few travel coffee thermal mugs, but none are as kawaii as this one. I'll definitely be getting coffee in this all the time now. This insulated acrylic mug "But first, coffee" lettering adds a playful touch. Good quality, keeps my coffee/teas warm for up to 3 hours.

✨ Bauble Bar Ear-jackets (a $30 value). I personally am a fan of Bauble Bar, I've ordered from the website before and have never really been let down. These jacket earrings are very on trend and add just a touch of "bling" to any look. The earrings themselves are made of zinc casting, acrylic stones, surgical steel post and shiny gold plating. Plus on the back of the earring packaging there is a 25% off discount code for MORE shopping on the Bauble website.

✨ LAQA & Co. Cheeky Lip Pencil (in one of 3 assorted colors, a $22 value....I got Cray Cray). LAQA & Co. is a New York based cosmetic brand "that’s about more than just beauty. We offer über convenience as standard. And a little bit of altruism in every box" according to their website. I had never heard of this company prior to getting this lip product. This was my least favorite thing in the whole box. I can't for the life of me see why this lip pencil would cost $22. It is very streaky and the pigmentation is barley there. The color is nice but you really have to layer it on.The lasting power is that of kids makeup, you put it on and 2 mins later its gone. I would never purchase this product on it's own.

✨Popping Notebook (a $8 value) is just another notebook in my opinion. It's not really much to look at, but its handy and sturdy.

✨ Quay Breath of Life Sunglasses (a $50 value).Quay Australia is a (you guessed it) Australian based company, which is known for "its signature oversized frames, playful yet infinitely edgy range of designs and affordable price points. I've been a fan of Quay sunnies for a while now. They aren't the cheapest by any means but also they won't make a huge dent in your wallet. The Breath of life sunnies have a cat eyed shaped (which I love), plastic frame with polarized mirrored lenses. These go with everything, I wear. A definite staple in my wardrobe for summer. This was the ticket item I was really looking forward to in my box and it did not disappoint.

✨Julep Konjac Sponge (a $12 value) New brand for me. Julep is actually a Korean monthly subscription company known for its 100% vegan nail polishes. Many don't know that they also have a skincare sector. I've heard of Julep beauty (cruelty free) but haven't taken the plunge and tried any of their products, until now. Many of you might be wondering what is a "Konjac sponge". The Konjac sponge is made from the root of a Konjac plant. This sponge is enriched with charcoal which helps to clarify the skin. It is a super gentle, all natural exfoliator enriched with detoxifying kaolin clay that draws impurities from deep within the skin. Recommended usage is in the morning to show off smoother, softer skin and in the evening to prep your skin for moisturizers. I like to rinse this under some warm water and massage my face in a circular motion to exfoliate all this nasty dead skin cells. My skin is super sensitive and this makes my whole face feel soft and calmed. Please note that this sponge is not rough in texture so it will not damage your skin. The company suggests to replace every 1-2 months, but depending on how often you use this I would play it by ear. FYI, the sponge will arrive damp in it's packaging. Make sure to rinse thoroughly and squeeze out excess water after each use. Keep in a cool and dry area, so no bacteria will build up on the sponge itself. There is a suction cup which comes with the sponge and makes for easy storage.

✨ Julep nail polish in Myriam (a $14.99 value) As mentioned above I'm slowly but surely becoming a Julep brand fan. This was also my first ever Julep nail polish and I was impressed. Honestly I couldn't care less for nail polishes because I can't do my nails for the life of me. The nail polish is 0.27 fl oz, 8 mL bottle. The was a bright beautiful red! I would classify it as a warm red, which is great for spring and summer. Looks great on my warm medium skin tone. Has great coverage and goes on smoothly. Seems to wear very well. On the Julep website it states that this is " A fast-drying, long-lasting nail polish powered by breakthrough Oxygen Technology that makes nails healthy and more beautiful at the same time. Our proprietary 5-free, vegan-friendly formula also includes strengthening Hexanal and antioxidant green coffee extract". Anything that can make my sad brittle nails happy and healthy is a win win!

✨EOS lip balm in vanilla mint ( a $6 value) I've tried a few Eos products ranging from their lip balms to skincare, and though I'm not the biggest fan in the world I don't mind a lip balm from them every now and then. Packaging is always on point and super adorable. I wish EOS wasn't as pricey as they are because I don't believe the quality of the products justify the price. I know these balms can be a hit or miss with many people (my best friend included). She was a fan and then out of nowhere she became allergic to them. The company states "EOS lip balms are delightfully flavored and packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing Shea butter, and jojoba oil. These natural lip balms are hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, and paragon and petrolatum free for soft, smooth, beautiful lips". How true any of that is, is something only time will tell and how the consumers react to the products. But all in all, the lip balm is nice, scent is a bit too sweet for my liking but it does the trick.

PRICE TAG šŸ’°

The box retails for $39 but use code: Sale50 ( now $19.99) plus free shipping šŸ‘šŸ½ Now that is one hell of a deal, if you ask me. Each item that I received was of good quality and name brand. 4 out of the 8 items/brands that I got in my box I had never tried but always wanted to test out. This was a good purchase in my humble opinion. I dipped my feet in to test out a few new brands to see if they were worth the hype or not, for an amazing price.

What do you guys think?
