Lovers, It was love at first sight when I saw the new Limited Edition Dior Blush'N'Bloom Rosy Glow Powder Face & Cheeks "Sakura" inspired compact.

Same as every year, Dior introduced its special limited edition range of brightening, illuminating makeup. This is the central part of Diorsnow Makeup Collection, which has a new theme every single year. This year Dior’s Global Creative Director Peter Philips derived his inspiration from "Sakura",the Japanese cherry blossom.

Sadly, the Dior Spring 2017 Diorsnow Makeup Collection is known to be released exclusively in Asia. It launched earlier this year on the 17th of February 2017.

Product: This gorgeous illuminating powder combines four different shades of pink, from the lightest illuminating cotton candy pink, to a more saturated rose quartz and geranium pink. The powder is embossed with a bouquet of romantic cherry blossoms, arranged in a harmonious floral pentagon. This limited edition face palette is named DiorSnow Crystal Cherry Pollen.

The gradient of pinks are beautiful, some lighter, some darker, some have shimmer, some are matte. The pink flower pattern falls into a lovely soft white backdrop of shimmering powder. I like to swish them all together and get the loveliest, light pink color. The color is not overpowering, and it’s suitable for those who love a light flush of color and that’s exactly what it does. It adds a very realistic glow to the cheeks whilst still providing a light flush.

The DiorSnow Collection 2017 for Japan was released earlier this year and the makeup collection includes whitening skincare, a limited edition Cinq Couleurs #637 Petal palette (7600yen) and Snow Blush & Bloom Powder #001 (7600yen). The rest of the collection will be released on the 24th of February and will include the following products:

From my understanding the spring 2017 Diorsnow Collection will be dived into three parts:#ForeverWeekender,#ForeverUrbaner and #ForeverMidnighter. Each mini collection will feature products suited to complement your skin and makeup for different time periods of the day. Dior also announced that the spring 2017 Diorsnow Collection would also have a new Dior Forever Perfect Cushion foundation which went on sale early on the 1st of January 2017. A few new skincare products were also released on that same date, including: Diorsnow Essence of Light Brightening Light-Activating Micro Infused Lotion (200 ml) and Capture Totale Dream Skin Advanced Global Age Defying Skincare Perfect Skin Creator (50 ml / 30 ml).

The packaging is just lovely. It is simple and clean and classic Dior. The all white compact comes nestled in a grey velvet sleeve which also houses a very useful and cute brush.

It’s true what everyone has been saying about this powder. It is absolutely breathtaking. When you open this baby up and notice the beautiful array of pinks, I swear the heavens sing.
